Hi guys. Recently I purchased a VFC AIMS (real wood + full metal) EBB, and while I have disassembled VFC AK clones before, this one confounded me. I wanna access the inner barrel and hop-up properly, but I just can't remove the whole outer barrel. I have remove the top and lower foregrip and removed the one big pin on the trunion block. At this stage the whole outer barrel assembly would come off normally, but my AIMS just won't budge. Did I forget anything? I appreciate it if you guys can help me out.

P/S: I have clicked the link above but my computer prevents me from opening it due to a malware.

Also, I'm Malaysian so it would be grateful if you guys can reply in English. Cheers.

Thanks guys.

Last Sunday, I finally had some time to sit down and disassemble the VFC AIMS. I managed to take out the two last pins (one on the trunion block and the other just under the gas tube) but still, sad to say, I could not take out the outer barrel!!! Arrgghhh!!!! filakairsoft/angry2.gif

Example is like this video, at 2mins 50seconds point: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nrbqA0vgGc

And rightly so, I googled around and there is no proper full disassembly guides for the VFC AIMS, even for the CYMA AIMS. Other videos showing the disassembly of similar AK variants show that it is easy to pull out the outer barrel, which was what I normally experience with other AKs, but this AIMS of mine seems too tough to slide out.

I tried gently hammering out the outer barrel block from the inside but still... it is driving me crazy...

Any advice is welcomed at this point, comrades...

If there is one, I surely could not see it, komrad. wacko.gif

I'll triple check on that again.

Check also the side of trunnion for another pin that hold the barrel.
