Post here the common tech problem of our AK and possible solution...

One of the top of the list...
The Cutoff Lever (Yaw Control Bar).

Problem: No Single Fire even in Single Fire Mode.

Cutoff lever tends to wear out (red arrow) after a long period of usages(single fire mode).
Most possible solution is replace the parts, a Guarder or Deepfire Cut Off Lever.

Other solution, modify the cutoff lever, a do it yourself mod.
Soldering lead is not advisable, the lead too soft and wear out easily.
Epoxy maybe use...or leave the problem as is. dry.gif

i know that the source solution is to super glue an aluminum bit from a soft drink can. epoxy steel may work, kom alakdan, only if you make sure the oxidation is totally eliminated from the portion of the COL that is to be repaired. otherwise, hindi sya kakagat ng maayos and will peel off easily. sad.gif

the no semi problem, btw, can sometimes be due to the COL stopping at an intermediate point due to incomplete piston cycling. this one, however, is usually solved by firing an auto burst but not always. dry.gif

no need for apologies, komrad. discussions, basta civilized kahit heated, are always good for healthy forums. tongue.gif

and, OT konti: i have recently learned that all meks, hindi lang AKs, are prone to this problem. nasa design. maybe the electronic sensing ng gear position featured in the systema revolution and in the gandolf computer can finally solve this. unsure.gif
