I hope this is not a repost, hehehe but many players, especially with their first AK have used 2-3 point m4 slings on AKs. And are having a hard time how to "properly" sling their AKs with the AK SLING. Some even insist the m4 slings are better. Urrg such an ugly sight. Manufacturers should include a manual on how to properly use the AK Sling.
I hope the following pics helps. just follow thru' komrads.... AK and the standard or classic Russian AK sling ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() See? so EZ, Now you are ready... Now while in combat action, Players also ask me most of the time what configuration the sling should be when firing or moving, My way is to "Un-sling" it. Next is when un-sling, how do I keep the sling from dangling around or being caught in branches or other things when moving... Ahh . . . look at these FF pics... you'll get the idea... You just wrap around the sling from the front sight and back to the butt stock. for medium length sling ![]() ![]() and for those extra length slings like here with our komrad Bac Ho's. ![]() Now you are more than ready to rumble... For those asking if there is a Tactical Ak sling out there I've found this manufacturer who sells them at Russia that's used by some OMON units. ![]() ![]() ![]() Now this one i'll let you figure it out by yourselves...I dont like it. enjoy. Pls add if you have anymore to add Komrads.

Now THAT is what the empty space on my gunrack is for!!!! The RK-06 is one good looking AEG! Will be a stunner with a very realistic weathering job.
I cant make up my mind between the RK-01 and RK-06. I need a CQB weapon, but then again I hate CQB. I prefer shooting the guys who dare to peep out of the windows. So I can justify myself buying the RK-06!

I am left-handed. and my problem with my AKs is that I have difficulty if i sling it the way its supposed to be.
Anyway to sling it only at the butt side so that it doesn't hamper me when am firing? |
