the gun is very solid....small details very good.......a very nice sling is included very much like the guarder sling for AK...comes with the usaul bat, charger etc
7mm bearnig.... the hop up sucks....replace it by all means other than the hop chamber...the gun is perfect!!!! inner barrel is longer by 2 inches...evrything is better than the last kalash     |

Hi ! First-im sorry 4 my p00r english,cos im from Slovakia (Central Europe). Im looking for some info about Kalash RK-03 , i have readed several reviews in several languages , but i didnt found any about RK-03 (only 02 and 01). I have CM.031 and i decided to buy a new and full metal gun. I like the RK-03,but as I said ,i havent collected much info yet. So i registered here, cos there on East, the Chinese guns comes out earlier. So you may have more information...
I know that it is nice,well built and shoots hard but i dont know anything about durability and minor problems that need to fix fristly. Can u help me ? THX ! (Im so sorry 4 my english...) This post has been edited by my3tus on December 31, 2007 04:55 am

Welcome komrad my3tus! Like you, I am also new to the site. And the RK-03 has no reviews yet, but based on what komrad bigbadwolf said, it is better than the last kalash (RK-02) and if this is true, Komrad Hans has a very good feedback about the rk-02 (just a simple optimization = 420 fps)  then this gun is a very good buy.The only problem reported is the bad hop-up so I guess you have to replace it.
it means that after he optimized the gun (sealed air leaks, changed the bushing, which is 7mm by the way  ) the gun shot at an amazing 460 fps. This means the gun has an equivalent spring of a PDI190 or a guarder sp130 Nowadays you can't go wrong w/ the new ak's coming out: metal receivers, wood handguards, amazing performance on stock setups... Heck, this month alone I already bought two (cm035 & rk-02) and all I can say is the only person who'll get dissapointed is your teammate who spent loads of cash getting his gun to look exactly like what you bought for $100+

the rk03 out of the box is almost perfect....good grouping of bb's, very sturdy design, solid feel and value for money is a cut above the rest.....
playing it with just replacing the metal bushings would be perfect.......im a tech freak so i replaced almost evrything with upgrade parts..... current set up eg1000 metal bushings systema infinite gears deep fire piston body spring guide w bearing piston head with bearing deep fire MS 170 spring bore up kit metal hop up chamber 630 fps..... the gun is very easy to take down.....its actually easier than the marui.... the stock motor can crank a 150 spring just as long as you have the right gear set i love this gun.....its a blessing!!!! hehehehehehe evrything perfect...... may i add that this gun can hold up to i think 12-14 cells....i use the intellect 1400 i will try to post more pics....i will take the gun down and post it my suggestion is that you guys get it.....i also hav the rk-02 and the rk01......rk02 and rk03 is a mile away in terms of quality....performance etc...from the rk01 |

komrad bigbad, Nice mod.. I would agree that the RK02 and RK03 is far more better compare to RK01 in terms of build quality, had a field day yesterday using my RK03 currently very very happy with it.... long range ( still using the stock hop assembly ) and group and accuracy is excellent for me. Updated 12-31-2007 Dremelled the mag lock to accomodate other brands of magazine. cyma, marui, & jg pasok..

dnt get me wrong guys....the stock hop assmbly is fine....but being myself....i just had to change it......hehehehe....it works just fine but i want more...hehehehehe
to tell u guys the truth....just replace the bushings w metal...and ur all set |

 komrad my3tus  no need to apologize about your english -- many say that you have a duty to speak a foreign language badly  hope the inputs from the komrads are good enough for you. we will surely have something more once people start playing actively again after the holiday season

I have one more question, is the hop up TM/CA compactible ? I mean, if i can replace the rubber with a SYSTEMA/Guarder without replacing the chamber. Beacuse ,from that what i know there were some problems on CM.031 with repalcing the rubber... And,cant someone write a review on RK-03 ? THX ! (hope you understand )

I think the hop rubbers are compatible. If not, then its a very big boo boo if you can't replace it with aftermarket parts.  systema and guarder hop rubbers would do fine.don't worry about the reviews komrad it will surely come.

is the only difference between the rk02 and rko3 the handguard? and the sling i guess. and what is better: dremel the mag catch of the magazine or the mag lock of the gun itself? just want to make this clear thanks
