Why Blue Tape?, Why not Black?

Just asking...and please help me to search why the russian using Blue Tape instead Black color...

i guess, tama nga ung sabi nila na issue eto ngayon sa mga Russian forces. unless, opkorps, parte yan ng mga supplies na nanenok nila sa UN peacekeepers sa Checknya.

I tried search from Redsoldier Forum This is only topic they'll have.... and i saw you posting that thread:Dedit... aha...just an ordinary tape Russian commonly use for utilities...  nothing so special on it...but i love the blue....and i love AK... kulit nga lang masyado si andy....na katulad ko... .

Just a guess, maybe its also used, in a secondary purpose, as a means of identification since most conflicts Russia engaged at were also AK armed.
 . It would make perfect sense. The closest I can think of na similar sa color na yan is the painters tape sold at ACE hardware.
